FLORIDA NOTARY LAW-ATTENTION RENUEN VICTIMS

Under Florida statute section 117.05(5), a "notary public may not notarize a signature on a document unless he or she personally knows, or has satisfactory evidence, that the person whose signature is to be notarized is the individual who is described in and who is executing the instrument." Falsely taking or receiving an acknowledgement of a signature on a written instrument is a third degree felony under Florida statute section 117.105.

IF YOU ARE A RENUEN CUSTOMER AND HAVE NOT OBTAINED THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT AND PERMITTING DOCUMENTS FILED BY RENUEN FOR YOUR JOB, YOU SHOULD GO TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT AND OBTAIN THEM TO DETERMINE IF YOUR SIGNATURE WAS FORGED ON THE DOCUMENTS AND NOTARIZED BY RENUEN EMPLOYEE KATHLEEN VERZARO.  IF SO, YOU SHOULD FILE THE NOTARY COMPLAINT FORM ABOVE ASAP.
